Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – KPU officially declared Gusnar-Idah  as the elected governor and vice  governor after receiving more than 40 percent of the valid votes. After garnering 295.983  votes, defeated first pair who earned 193.222 votes, the second pair 104.050 and third pair 88.794.

Gusnar, known popularly as the vice governor for the 2001–2006 and 2007–2012 periods also attented the event and  thanked the people of Gorontalo for their support, he apologized if there were any offensive words or  actions  during the  election, Gusnar also announced plans  to prepare himself and team due to commitment to make Gorontalo more synergy and collaboration for a better province .

Idah Syahidah, as the first female vice,  also delivered and encouraged  all women  not to be afraid to take part in politics

On that occasion, accompanying the Acting governor Rudy Salahuddin, there were also the Provincial Secretary Sofian Ibrahim, the rank of Forkopimda and Bawaslu and all of the OPD  (working unit)’s head.
