Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – The Provincial Transportation office held a coordination meeting due to formulate the best strategies for managing Eid transportation and other activities throughout Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

Attending the meeting, there was also the Provincial Secretary Sofian Ibrahim who opened the meeting on Eid al-Fitr 1446 H transportation preparation and the Gebyar Ketupat 2025 event at Governor’s Office on tuesday (March 11, 2025).
On this occasion, Sofian stated on his remarks

that this annual agenda aims to ensure safety, comfortable transportation services for the public during Lebaran and cultural events such as Gebyar Ketupat and Tumbilotohe.

He also added that keep coordinating with BMKG regarding potential extreme weather that could affect public mobility during the long holiday period from March 28 to April 7, 2025 is needed, even Gorontalo is currently on the yellow zone, indicating a relatively safe, Sofian suggested Basarnas and all related stakeholders must ensure their readiness to potential extreme weather to provide convenience to travellers.
