Today, residents in Gorontalo will be entertained by dozens of attraction, Karawo costumed parade, concerts and some series of GKK event due to in
promoting tourism and the regional creative economy.
Acting Governor, Rudy Salahuddin mentioned that this event is not only tourist attractions, but the friendliness of the local people is also a unique, local value and distinguishes Gorontalo from other regions.
Minister of Tourism and Creativr Economy, Sandiaga Salahudin Uno accompanied by Acting Gov. Rudy Salahuddin with his wife and other invited guests, while watching the parade in the 2024 Gorontalo Karawo Carnival.
2024 GKK will be held in three days, from June 21 to 23, 2024. Series of events will be enlivening the GKK such as Nusantara Culinary Festival, Creative Economy Product Expo, Karawo Kids and Teen Fashion Show, and Creative Music Festival also a Sustainable Tourism Talkshow.
GKK Participants consisted of various contingents ; Provincial.working units, vertical agencies, universities, and so on. Some of them came from outside the region, such as Yogyakarta, East Java, West Papua, and South Sumatra.
