Idah in an interview delivered that due to a concrete step towards environmental awareness by reducing plastic, she encouraged all to use non plastic bag, she delivered this when inspecting cheap food program at Talumelito sub district on tuesday (25/3/2025).

According to Idah it is a part of the local government’s commitment to environmental protection, that plastic bag usage in Gorontalo remains high, contributing to the accumulation of plastic waste in landfills.

Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, encouraged residents to bring their their own non-plastic baskets or bags from home if they go to the market. Shopping baskets are safer for storing goods and more environmentally friendly.
