
Gorontalo Regency, Kominfotik – After visiting distribution of LPG gas center in Telaga sub district and Limboto market on saturday, Governor Gusnar assured that the staple food supply in Gorontalo province are secure ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 H.
When being interviewed, Gusnar stated that even the prices of tomatoes and chili had previously increased but they have now dropped the market situation also is stable and safe.
Gov.Gusnar also added that LPG is available and its distribution is running smoothly due to the recent inflation made tomato price and chili prices hiked, but they have now gone down. Based on the official data, inflation will have returned to normal and won’t be too extreme.
Stable Rice Supply and Price Updates
Gusnar made sure that the rice stock in Gorontalo is secure, as it is directly controlled by the gov’t. He also urged the public to stay calm and not to be worry.
A vendor named Dandi when in an interviewed stated that the price of tomatoes has dropped from IDR 20.000 to IDR 15,000 per kg and chili prices range from IDR 70,000 to 80,000 per kg. Additionally, red onion and garlic between IDR 50,000 and 55,000 per kg.
The price of beef, however, has risen from the normal rate of IDR 115,000.
to IDR 130,000 per kg.
