Jakarta City, Kominfotik – Djoewiati Kentjana Soebrata, officially congratulated Nani Mokodongan who was sworn in as the new Gorontalo Dekranasda Chairwoman on tuesday (4/3/2025).
Djoewiati highlighted on her remarks that the achievements of Dekranasda under her leadership, one of which was commited due to the development of crafts and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Gorontalo. Especially
Karawo designs and motifs by involving national designers such as Didiet Maulana. She also hoped that the new chairperson would continue these efforts so that Karawo crafts may grow and gain international recognition.
Meanwhile, the new Chairperson of Dekranasda, Nani Mokodongan, expressed her appreciation for the achievements and programs implemented by the previous Dekranasda chairperson, Nani committed to continuing and expanding upon these accomplishments, with a focus on entrepreneurship development, particularly in handicrafts such as Karawo.
According to Nani, it is necessary to build synergy and coordination between provincial Dekranasda and district/city levels and to support artisan is the most important thing in order to enhance the their welfare.
