
Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – Head of the Provincial Transportation Office, Jamal Nganro chaired a meeting due to discuss traffic and parking arrangements at street market ‘senggol’. It aims to overcome traffic jams and haphazard parking, for the traders and visitors convenience during Ramadhan. According to Jamal S. Parman street was advised to be completely closed because the road was narrow and congested with stalls and visitors. He also added if it closed, vehicles must be diverted to another route due to the crowded parking at Senggol Market.
Attending the meeting there were also the market committee, the Traffic Police Unit (Satlantas), and representatives of the traders and will be scheduled next meeting also inviting the provincial secretary for further discussion.
