Pohuwato Regency, Kominfotik – Gorontalo Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie expressed that her administration, together with Governor Gusnar Ismail and the Regency/City Local Gov’t is ready to support the programs of the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) a new ministry established under President Prabowo’s leadership, formed as a spin-off from the Ministry of Public Works (PU).
Vice gov Idah hopefully expressed that this visit can strengthen relationship between the central and local gov’t in realizing the 3 million houses program.
Vice gov Idah also added that from 2017 to 2024, the Provincial Gov’t, has built more than 2 thousands housing units across the province, approximately 322 units, are located in Pohuwato Regency.
Furthermore, in the draft study of the Gorontalo Province Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) for 2025-2029, it has been outlined that the Provincial Gov’t will also plan the relocation of homes for residents living in negative list areas. This includes around East Pohuwato area, which is currently being proposed by the Pohuwato Regency Government in collaboration with the Provincial Government.
