Gorontalo Regency, Kominfotik – Acting Governor Rudi on saturday approved remission for 701 inmates across the region on the occasion of Indonesia independence day.

However,the remission would not be applicable on all the prisoners. Some reduction in sentences would be applicable on prisoners who had good atittude during the time being.

Rudi also expressed that the remission of sentences as a crucial aspect of the Indonesia’s justice system.

On that occasion, accompanying the Governor,  there were also the Provincial Secretary Sofian Ibrahim, Gorontalo Regent Nelson Pomalingo and other stakeholders.
