BANDUNG CITY, Kominfotik –Government Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) developed an online shopping application, named E-Catalog that provides various types of local products and commodities to trigger and open up job opportunities and also to support MSMEs in the region based on the requirement by the government.

Today, the Provincial secretary, Sofian Ibrahim launched some new local product in the e-catalog, such as forestry plant seeds, animal feed, furniture, hospitality services, electronic services, and land transportation vehicle rental services, event organizers, printing and procurement, public street lighting, electrical power installation providers, occupational safety protection, and information technology.

On that occasion also there was workshop for officials to increase the competence and preparation of an action plan for the fulfillment of competency certified.

Previously, the Provincial Government conducted a comparative study to the West Java Provincial administration, to learn about the development of E-Catalog. West Java itself was being the pilot project in  e-catalog development.
