Gorontalo City, Kominfotik- 12 countries have been confirmed in entering for Asia Minifootball Championship (AMFC) 2023 that will be held on 9 – 17 August 2023 in Gorontalo and the number will still increase considering that there are nine other countries that have confirmed their participation.
Some countries from West Asia such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar. Several Southeast Asian countries have also registered, such as Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia
Head of the Provincial Youth and Sport Office, Wahyudin Katili who chaired a meeting expressed that so far there have been 12 countries have registered from 21 countries that have confirmed their participation.
Wahyudin also stated that his ranks will keep maintain communication with the Asian Minifootball Federation for a list of other countries.
For the first agenda will be scheduled on May 5 is Group Drawing which took place in Aston Hotel, Gorontalo city and it will be attended by the President of AMFC Mohammad Alddausari.
The meeting discussed some points such as group draw preparation , the readiness of the event, how to welcoming the guests, some event agendas, processing visas and immigration technical matters are well prepared. Foreign minifootball federations are also scheduled to observe the condition of the field which is planned to be the location of the match.
