This coordination and evaluation meeting (Rakorev) was held by the Provincial Communication, Informatic and Statistic’s  Office  at Omah Cafe, Pohuwato Regency followed by some officials from all regions in the Gorontalo province .

The meeting initially held by the provincial communication, informatic and statistic’s office and it is the first time since 2019 year.

The meeting was conduct due to collaboration,  equal perseption and fulfill each other among regions and the meeting was opened by the  and the Head of the Provincial  Communication, Informatic and Statistic’s  Office, Rifli M. Katili.

“Since I was inaugurated in  January 19th 2023, I suggest all my ranks that we have to sit together with all officials in the region, to discuss

how to do the collaboration, equal perseption and fulfill each other among us. ,” Rifli expressed on his remarks.

Rifli stated that there are crucial issues and must be followed up, such as The Digital Society Index is relatively low, the villages do not have yet an internet network (blank spot).

“we still have 97 villages that have blank spot in 2022.

Rifli also expressed that the information technology currently become a basic need like electricity and water. People can be poor and isolated not only because of regional barriers but also because of information and communication barriers.

“we have already made a proposal and to be signed by the Governor in order to be submitted to the central government.” Rifly stated.

This one-day meeting was attended by some  officials being speakers. They are

Head of the Provincial BPS’s Office,  Mukhamad Mukhanif, Head of the Provincial Bappeda’s office, Sofyan Ibrahim and Head of the Provincial BPSDM, Budiyanto Sidiki.
