GORONTALO REGENCY, Kominfotik – The Bongo Village residents, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency, supported by Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Mandiri Pariwisata continue to improve the three tourist destinations in the Bongo Village, namely the Bubohu religious tourism park, the Walima Emas Mosque, and Dulanga Beach, was successfully nominated in the top 50 of the Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) held by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) RI.
“For the assessment of the top 10 nominees, will be directly visited by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahudin Uno and the ADWI team also. We have made various preparations to fix the existing infrastructure in these three tourist destinations in Bongo Village,” Head of the Independent Tourism Pokdarwis, Muhlis Panai conveyed. at Dulanga Beach, Wednesday (15/9/2021).
Muhlis explained that the ADWI 2021 assessment focused on seven categories include homestays or lodging places, toilets, souvenirs, digital villages, creative content, tourist attractions, and CHSE, Cleanliness (cleanliness), Health (health), Safety (security), and Environment (environmentally friendly).

Meanwhile, Yamin Nusi, the person in charge of the Dulanga Beach destination delivered that the improvements made included the construction and repair some of tourism supporting facilities, including the construction of gates, photo spots for Dego-Dego Cinta, and swings on the beach. Dulanga Beach has also been equipped with health protocol facilities, such as a hand washing area, an appeal board for implementing health protocols, including providing masks for visitors
