GORONTALO, Kominfotik – One of the most anticipated elements of the 2025 Gorontalo Half Marathon (GHM) event, the finisher medal, has been completed. The medal, featuring a premium design and meeting international standards, is ready to be presented to runners who successfully complete the race on December 7, 2025.
The GHM 2025 medal is produced from a high-quality metal material layered with an elegant gold color, giving it an exclusive and prestigious impression. The large and thick size of the medal demonstrates the committee’s commitment to presenting an award standard equivalent to world-class marathon events.
The silhouette of the whale shark, Gorontalo’s featured tourism icon, is included in the medal’s design, strengthening the regional identity and the message of sport tourism within the event.

Head of the Gorontalo Provincial Youth and Sports Agency and Chairman of the GHM 2025 Committee, Danial Ibrahim, expressed his pride in the readiness of this prestigious symbol for the runners. Danial explained that with the completion of the medal, the preparation for GHM 2025 is nearing its final stage. The event is targeted to be a momentum for the development of Gorontalo’s sport tourism, as well as being part of the celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Gorontalo Province.
