Gorontalo is Ready to Host 2026 Regional Week of National Outstanding Farmers and Fishermen Association (KTNA)

Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – Provincial Secretary Sofian Ibrahim, when chaired a meeting of 2026 National Week of KTNA preparedness that will.be held in Gorontalo (12/6/2025).

Being a host of 2026 KTNA, Provincial Secretary Sofian Ibrahim when officially opened the main rembuq of KTNA preparedness, stated that Gorontalo is fully prepared for this National event, on thursday at the Grand Q Hotel Gorontalo City.
The main core of Gorontalo’s economy is agriculture, Sofian delivered this when opening the main rembug.

Due to strengthening food security and expanding the added value of agricultural and marine products also creating new job opportunities, and accelerate economic growth based on local potential, Sofian stated that the Gorontalo Provincial Gov’t will prioritize the development of the agricultural sector through an integrated agro-maritime approach.

Furthermore, the gov’t will support the trade sector and MSMEs such as local handicraft industries so that they can be featured as part of the promotion at Penas 2026. To welcome more than 30,000 participants from all over Indonesia, Gorontalo will prepare all aspects starting from the infrastructure and accommodation to technical implementation.

Attending the the meeting there were also Irham Syah, Head of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPPSDMP) at Agriculture Ministry as the Chairperson of national KTNA and members of the Gorontalo Provincial parliaments, Muljady Mario, Head of the Provincial Agriculture Office; as well as representatives from the Food Security Agency, Fisheries Office, Forestry Office, and chairpersons and members of KTNA from all regencies and cities in Gorontalo.
