BONE BOLANGO REGENCY, Kominfotik – Governor Gusnar Ismail carried out his Friday safari at the Great At-Tabiin Mosque in Ayula Selatan Village, South Bulango District, Bone Bolango Regency, on Friday, October 3, 2025. Religious safaris to mosques are routinely carried out by the number one official in Gorontalo Province, both for congregational Friday prayers and for breaking the fast on Mondays and Thursdays (sunnah fasting).
The Governor’s Friday safari program is divided into several stages. The first stage involves visiting and performing Friday congregational prayers at the Great Mosques of Regencies/Cities. The next stage moves to the great mosques at the district level, and finally to the large mosques (masjid jami) in villages and urban areas. This routine and continuous program aims to strengthen ties (silaturahmi) and directly listen to input and aspirations from the community.
Furthermore, Governor Gusnar advised the congregation and management of the At-Tabiin Mosque to always pay attention to the cleanliness of the mosque and its surroundings. He specifically stressed that the cleanliness of the toilets and ablution areas must be cleaned regularly for the comfort of the worshippers.
On that occasion, Governor Gusnar Ismail handed over Rp5 million in operational assistance for the At-Tabiin Mosque. Those who also attended the activity included the Expert Staff of the Bone Bolango Regent, the Head of South Bulango District, and traditional stakeholders. From the Gorontalo Provincial Government, the Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Secretary of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Acting Head of the Bureau of Governance and People’s Welfare, the Acting Head of the Organization Bureau, and the Governor’s Communication Team were present.
