MAKKAH, Kominfotik –  Hajj pilgrims from Gorontalo Province completed the Tawaf Ifadah procession on tuesday. (10/6/2025).

Tawaf Ifadah marks the final days of Hajj is such an essential pillars of Hajj that must be performed.

Yaser Arafat Dama. as Amir al-Hajj for Gorontalo Pilgrims delivered that tawaf Ifadah has been completed which is marks the end of the Hajj rituals then waiting for the Tawaf Wada, or the farewell tawaf, before leaving Makkah and heading to Medina.

Tawaf Ifadah series are the same as other types of tawaf, which involves circling the Kaaba seven times, starting and ending at the Black Stone (Hajar Aswad). After completing the tawaf, it is followed by the sa’i (walking between Safa and Marwah).

Yaser also conveyed the massage of Governor Gusnar hoping that all pilgrims stay in good condition and to whom have not performed the Tawaf Ifadah yet due to health will be rescheduled. Governor also added that the pilgrims’s health is a major concern and ensure until they return back to Indonesia.

According to data from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, pilgrims from Gorontalo is expected to depart for Medina around June 20, 2025 and return to Indonesia on June 30, 2025.
