GORONTALO REGENCY, Kominfotik – Governor Gusnar Ismail distributed Government Food Reserve (CPP) rice in Hunggaluwa and Tenilo Sub-districts, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency, Tuesday (8/9/2026). The number of beneficiary families (KPM) reached 850 KPM in Hunggaluwa Sub-district and 300 KPM in Tenilo.
Based on data from Bulog Gorontalo, the allocation of CPP rice beneficiaries for Gorontalo Regency this year stands at 68,450 KPM. This figure represents an increase of 22,170 KPM compared to 2025, which recorded only 46,280 KPM.
Furthermore, Gusnar stated that President Prabowo Subianto has instructed Bulog to accelerate the distribution of CPP rice. This acceleration aims to assist communities amid the current dry season while maintaining the stability of rice prices. During this distribution period, each KPM received 30 kilograms of rice covering the allocations for July, August, and September.
Meanwhile, Regent Sofyan Puhi, on behalf of the government and the people of Gorontalo Regency, expressed his gratitude for the distribution of the CPP rice. According to him, this assistance is deeply meaningful for the community during the current period of scarcity.
