​Gorontalo City, Kominfotik — Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie inspected the readiness of Taruna Remaja Field, Gorontalo City, which will serve as the location for racepack collection and the MSME area ahead of the Gorontalo Half Marathon (GHM) 2025, Tuesday afternoon (2/12/2025).

​During the inspection, Idah ensured that all facilities, ranging from the entertainment stage, 20 MSME tents, to the racepack collection tents, were being prepared by the committee from the Gorontalo Provincial Youth and Sports Office.idah also expressed her concern after receiving information that on December 4, the Taruna Remaja Field would be used by the Gorontalo City Government for the Korpri reception, which would be attended by the Head of BKN and the Chairman of Korpri. This information was only received by Idah during the inspection.

​According to the committee’s report, racepack collection will be held for three days, from December 4—6, with the last day dedicated to participants from outside the region. Two tents with a total of 20 counters are prepared to speed up the service process and avoid long queues. An MSME area is also provided so that guests and participants can shop and enjoy typical Gorontalo culinary delights.

​To ensure there is no overlap in venue usage, Idah immediately coordinated with Gorontalo Mayor Adnan Dambea. The Mayor explained that the Korpri reception would be held in the evening, so it would not interfere with the racepack collection activity, which takes place starting in the morning.

​GHM 2025 will take place on Sunday, December 7, with three race categories: 5K, 10K, and 21K. Racepack collection is scheduled to start from 09.00 to 21.00 WITA. In addition to featuring MSMEs, the committee has also prepared live music entertainment and health education for the participants to make the atmosphere more comfortable and informative while waiting for their bib numbers.
