GORONTALO CITY, Kominfotik – A total of 346 officials within the Gorontalo Provincial Government have begun participating in the Civil Servant Profiling (Aparatur Sipil Negara – ProASN) assessment. ProASN is part of a national program initiated by the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) to accelerate the provision of data on the potential and competence of civil servants.
The ProASN aims to measure psychological potential, managerial and socio-cultural competence, digital literacy, and career preferences to support the development and implementation of the national Talent Management system. The ProASN assessment is attended by all Primary High Leadership Officials, Administrators, Supervisors, as well as several Functional and Executive Officials.
”The execution of this assessment is to map the competence and profile of the Gorontalo Provincial Government’s civil servants for the purpose of filling the Primary High Leadership, Administrator, Supervisor, and Functional Official positions,” explained Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail after monitoring the assessment at the Gorontalo BKN Technical Implementation Unit Office on Friday (7/11/2025).
Meanwhile, the Head of the Gorontalo Provincial Civil Service Agency (BKD), Rifli Katili, explained that the implementation of ProASN is also a concrete step to strengthen merit-based apparatus resource governance. Additionally, it prepares valid potential and competency data to support the implementation of Talent Management in the region.
Governor Gusnar was accompanied by the Gorontalo Provincial Regional Secretary Sopian Ibrahim, Head of the Gorontalo BKN Technical Implementation Unit Iskandar Zulkarnain Hadju, and Main Expert Apparatus Assessor Darda Daraba, while monitoring the assessment.
