National Peran Saka 2025 Preparations Reach 80 Percent Completion

Gorontalo Regency, Kominfotik – The Provincial Government of Gorontalo and the organizing committee are intensifying preparations for the National Peran Saka Camp 2025, scheduled for November 2–9 at the Bongohulawa Camp Site in Gorontalo Regency. As of D-32 (32 days before the event), the average progress of readiness has reached 80 percent.

Significant advancements have been made in various aspects of infrastructure and activity readiness:
Infrastructure Progress
* Camp Zone: Land clearing is 100 percent complete, and the construction of the tent pads has reached 90 percent, despite facing challenges with a steep land contour (15–30 degrees slope).
* Electricity Network: The main power cable is fully installed, but connections to posts and latrine (MCK) facilities are only 50 percent complete, and street lights are at 20 percent. An additional 127 light points and two generator sets (gensets) for backup power are needed.
* Latrine (MCK) Facilities: Progress varies between male and female facilities. The female latrines are 90 percent complete, while the male latrines are still at 60 percent of the total planned stalls.
Activities and Supporting Zones
* Participant Registration: Approximately 2,000 participants have registered via the AyoPramuka application as of D-32.
* Main Activities: Key activities like the Saka Expo and Extraordinary Class are 80 percent complete, with 12 National Saka (Scout Service Units) and one pilot Saka ready to participate. The program will be divided into three categories: General, Main Camp, and Outside Camp.

* Market/MSME Zone: The land for the market and MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) zone is complete.
* VIP Parking Zone: Only 30 percent of the VIP parking area has been opened, and it lacks paving.
* Health and Security: Supporting zones still require crucial additional facilities, including a field hospital, ambulances, patrol cars, and security posts.

Committee Focus and Target Provincial Secretary Sofian Ibrahim, the committee chairman, noted that various parties, including the Gorontalo Regional Scout Quarter (Kwarda), the Provincial Government, and the Regency

Government, have shown great support. However, he stressed the need to address and complete all pending issues, from the campsite readiness and supporting facilities to the designated roles of regional agencies (OPD) as Saka supervisors.

“All Saka Scout contingents from across Indonesia will gather at this beloved campsite. We must ensure that all outstanding issues and shortcomings are resolved immediately,” Sofian stated during the preparation meeting.

The committee hopes all stakeholders will report their progress and challenges, and clearly define their roles to ensure complete readiness up to the day before the event. Preparations intensified starting October 1, 2025, with a target for all facilities and infrastructure to be completed by October 26, 2025 (D-5).
