Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – The Provincial Gov’t continues to promote the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as one of the pillars of the community’s economy. Through the Provincial Office of Cooperatives, Industry, and Trade (Kumperindag), assistance for thousands of MSME actors was once again distributed across three districts/cities on Wednesday (20/8/2025)
Governor Gusnar Ismail and Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie simbolically, distributed assistance in three locations. A total of 315 MSME actors in Gorontalo City, 456 in Gorontalo District, and 869 in Bone Bolango District received support.
In her remarks, Vice Governor Idah emphasized that the assistance must truly be utilized to develop businesses. She also reminded that this aid reflects
the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of families and communities, especially women.
“One of my tips for growing a business faster is to make use of technology. And don’t sell on credit. Transactions must be in cash so that profits can be seen immediately and reinvested as capital,” she stressed.
As in previous distributions, the aid targeted four types of businesses: kiosks and food stalls, cake sellers, fried snack vendors, and beverage
businesses. Each MSME received production goods worth Rp1 million.
