Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – Vice Governor Gorontalo, Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, as a guest speaker at the Jumpa Tokoh Karya Nyata Pramuka event which was held at the Poltekkes Campus Auditorium on Friday (August 15, 2025). A total of 700 new students took part in the activity, which ran from August 14–16th.

On this occasion, Vice Governor Idah shared her long journey in the Scouting movement. She recounted her experience leading the Gorontalo Scout Regional Council (Kwartir Daerah Gerakan Pramuka) for two terms, from 2012–2022, and noted that she remains active today as a member of the Advisory Council. Even during her college years and as a civil servant, she continued to be actively involved in Scouting activities.

She also highlighted the importance of applying the values of the Dasa Darma in daily life, especially the tenth principle: “Pure in thought, word, and deed.”
She also advised the new Poltekkes students to be proud of being part of the Scout Movement and to make its values a guiding principle in life.
