GORONTALO REGENCY, Kominfotik – To support budget efficiency and also to boost local economy, the Provincial Gov’t soon will issue a Governor’s Decree prohibiting government activities outside the region.

According to Governor Gusnar, this policy is aimed to circulate money within the region not the other way around—taken out. He delivered this during the Ketupat Festival at Grand Bukit Proja, Pone Village, Limboto sub district, Gorontalo regency on sunday (April 6, 2025).

Governor Gusnar has instructed all his ranks to hold official events at local hotels. He stated that the positive impact will not only be felt by the hotels and meeting venues but also by the wider community, especially those who provide goods needed for events, such as snacks and food.

Meanwhile, he explained that Grand Bukit Proja Hotel, built in 2018, this local hotel has 20 rooms and 21 hotel staffs will be ready to provide excellent service and also can contribute to Gorontalo’s economic growth
