GORONTALO CITY, Kominfotik – Governor Gusnar Ismail confirmed that the regent re-vote in north of gorontalo (Gorut) is about to begin. He delivered after meeting with KPU at the governor’s residence on saturday (March 15, 2025).

Gov. Gusnar stated that everything has already prepared such as human resources, equipment support, and security.

According to the KPU Chairman, the stages of the revoting implementation are proceeding as scheduled. Sophian explained that the North Gorontalo Regency KPU is currently recruiting temporary election personnel including PPK, PPS, and KPPS officers.

At the same time, the North Gorontalo Regency KPU is also verifying the documents of a replacement candidate for the position of regent from candidate number three as MK (Constitutional Court’s) ordered. The replacement candidate has already undergone a medical check up at Dunda Hospital and on march 23rd, the candidate pair will officially be determined their ballot number the same as in the 2024 election. Sophian concluded revote in North Gorontalo is scheduled on April 19, 2025 in 245 polling stations in accordance with the Constitutional Court’s rule.
