Bone Bolango Regency, Kominfotik – The Provincial Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) Development Team has targeted Langge Village, Tapa sub-district, Bone Bolango Regency, to be free of stunting (tengkes) within the next one to two months. The target focuses on 15 toddlers who have been recorded as experiencing stunting, who are now the focus of cross-sectoral interventions.
“In Langge Village, there are 15 children who have been declared stunted. It is our shared duty to ensure that within one to two months, these numbers can drop to zero,” Nani Ismail Mokodongan stated, while handing over milk aid in Langge Village on Monday (7/9/2026).
Nani stated that the acceleration of stunting handling in Langge Village is being carried out through collaboration among the provincial, regency, district, and village governments, as well as Posyandu cadres. One form of intervention is the provision of specialized milk aid for stunted toddlers.
She emphasized that this assistance is not merely supplementary feeding, but part of a targeted effort to reduce stunting rates in the village, which serves as a pilot project. Therefore, sub-district and village governments have been instructed to ensure that the aid is consumed by the children as intended.
In addition to the milk aid, the Gorontalo Province TP Posyandu also distributed 100 nutritious food packages to toddlers attending the event. This step is expected to support nutritional fulfillment while raising family awareness regarding child growth and development.
