Rising Trend in Vehicle Tax (PKB) and Transfer Fee (BBNKB) Revenue Strengthens in Pohuwato

During the visit to the Samsat P3D UPTD Office in Pohuwato Regency, Thursday (2/26/2026).

Pohuwato Regency, Kominfotik – The Head of the Provincial Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Danial Ibrahim, announced that the realization of Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) and Motor Vehicle Transfer Fee (BBNKB) in Pohuwato Regency is showing an upward trend with positive prospects toward the end of the fiscal year. This was stated during Governor Gusnar Ismail’s working visit to the Samsat P3D UPTD Office in Pohuwato Regency on Thursday (2/26/2026).

According to Danial, this achievement is inseparable from the synergy between the Provincial Government, Regency Government, Police, and Jasa Raharja in strengthening Samsat services. Key factors include the optimization of digital payment systems and the acceleration of the registration and legalization process for new vehicles.

He emphasized that this increase is not merely about figures, but an indicator of improving fiscal awareness among the public. The optimization of PKB and BBNKB provides direct benefits to regencies/cities through a 66% option scheme.

He ensured that Bapenda will continue to promote digital-based service innovations, adopt persuasive approaches toward taxpayers, and strengthen monitoring systems to ensure this positive trend remains sustainable.

Meanwhile, Governor Gusnar Ismail emphasized that Samsat is a strategic hub in supporting Locally-Generated Revenue (PAD). Cross-sectoral coordination is expected to strengthen further to maintain the momentum of regional revenue growth in Pohuwato Regency, which is also part of a larger strategy to strengthen the fiscal independence of Gorontalo Province.
