North Gorontalo Regency, Kominfotik – Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail attended the joint Iftar event with the Senin Kamis Sunnah Fasting Community (SAINS) held at Al Ikhlas Mosque, Titidu Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, on Monday (3/11/2025). The event, which proceeded in a friendly atmosphere, served as an occasion to strengthen ties between the regional government and the community members who consistently observe the sunnah fast.
In his speech, Governor Gusnar expressed appreciation to the community members who have consistently maintained the practice of Monday and Thursday fasting as a form of spiritual strengthening and self-control.
Gusnar acknowledged that the Iftar agenda was not initially on his schedule for that Monday.
In addition to Governor Gusnar, also present were the Speaker of the Gorontalo Provincial Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD), Thomas Mopili, and several heads of Provincial Regional Work Units (OPD) such as Assistant I, Assistant II, Head of Bapppeda, Head of the General Bureau, and Head of the Governance Bureau. The Iftar was visibly crowded with attendees eagerly shaking hands with Governor Gusnar Ismail.
