Bone Bolango, Kominfotik – Governor of Gorontalo Gusnar Ismail reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that the education budget, especially regarding school infrastructure, is used effectively. He conveyed this during his visit to SMK 1 Bone Raya, Bone Bolango Regency, on Wednesday (09/17/2025).

In his address, the Governor highlighted the importance of repairing school facilities, such as leaking roofs. He emphasized that facilities for vocational high schools are the responsibility of the provincial government. This aligns with the President’s directive to all regional governments that, when regional transfer funds are allocated, education infrastructure must be prioritized.

In addition, Gusnar praised SMK 1 Bone Raya for being recognized as a child-friendly school. He noted that this achievement requires further attention by strengthening two components: teaching staff and the school environment.

At the same location, Governor Gusnar also visited the “Sapa 129” counseling service of the Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Office. Along with his visit to SMK 1 Bone Raya, the Governor and his entourage also held a meeting with students and teachers at SMA 1 Bone.
