
Bone Bolango Regency, Kominfotik – The Gorontalo Provincial Civil Service Agency (BKD) held a competency and potential test for prospective functional officials of Human Resource Analysts within the provincial government. The assessment, using the Assessment Center method, was participated in by eight civil servants and took place at the BKD Hall on Tuesday (09/16/2025).
Head of the Gorontalo Provincial BKD, Rifli Katili, explained that the implementation of this competency and potential test is a mandate from the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2020 concerning Civil Servant Talent Management. Its purpose is to measure processes and observe the work abilities of civil servants in accordance with job competency standards. The results will serve as a requirement for occupying both structural and functional positions.
Rifli also emphasized that the Gorontalo Provincial Government will continue striving to establish its own assessment center. With such a facility, competency tests for High Leadership Positions (JPT), administrators, and supervisors could be conducted independently, thus reducing the high costs of relying on third-party services.
“Skill transfer and mapping, as well as behavioral attitudes based on existing standards, will be measured. It is expected that civil servants can adapt, develop themselves, and encourage others to move forward,” he added.
Meanwhile, BKN Assessor Yulius Fransisco Angkawijaya expressed his appreciation during a direct inspection of the assessment site. The facilities provided were considered very adequate, although some aspects still need to be improved in the future.
