Bone Bolango Regency, Kominfotik – Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail distributed food aid packages for food-insecure areas in Suwawa District, Bone Bolango Regency, on Saturday (September 6, 2025). The aid was provided to help stabilize the rising price of rice.

The assistance targeted two villages with a total of 397 beneficiary families (KPM). Specifically, 210 families in Tinelo Village and 187 families in Duano Village. Each aid package consisted of four types of commodities: 10 eggs, two liters of coconut oil, five kilograms of rice, and one kilogram of sugar.

Gusnar urged residents not to worry about food shortages. In addition to the ongoing distribution of food aid to the community, the provincial government through Gorontalo’s Logistics Bureau (Bulog) has a stock of 3,300 tons of rice that will be distributed to eligible residents until December 2025.

Furthermore, Gusnar explained that the assistance received by the community was the result of aspirations conveyed by members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), the Regent, and village governments to the provincial government. These aspirations were discussed and agreed upon collectively to ensure that the community receives necessary food assistance.
