
Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, emphasized the importance of developing human resources (HR) among civil servants as the main foundation for realizing a modern, professional, efficient, and accountable bureaucracy.
Vice Governor conveyed this when opening the online seminar on Civil Servant HR Development in Supporting Talent Management in the Gorontalo Provincial ASN Environment, virtually from her office on Wednesday (3/9/2025).
According to Idah, Bureaucratic transformation is not just a discourse, but a necessity. Civil servants are required not only to be administratively skilled, but also competent, with integrity, and an innovative spirit. Vice Governor also stressed the importance of civil servants’ awareness to develop themselves independently
She also added that the competence of civil servants is the key to professionalism in public service.
“Don’t wait for institutional programs, but actively seek learning opportunities. If they do not meet the standard, civil servants are obliged to improve themselves. Otherwise, in accordance with Governor Regulation No. 1 of 2025, their performance allowances (TPP) will be deducted. Idah firmly stated.
Furthermore, the Vice Governor explained that talent management for civil servants will create clear career paths, increase competitiveness, and prepare them to face technological challenges and changes of the times. This program covers talent acquisition, development, retention, and placement, supported by the Civil Servant Management Information System as an integrated database.
The online seminar attended by representatives of provincial gov’t civil servants, featured Hesti Herminiati, TalentDNA Specialist/Board of Director at ESQ, as the main speaker. On this occasion, there were also Head of Gorontalo Provincial BKD, Rifli Katili, and Head of Gorontalo Provincial BPSDM, Budiyanto Sidiki.
