Bone Bolango Regency, Kominfotik – Gorontalo Governor Gusnar Ismail, together with Vice Governor Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, again distributed assistance to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Gorontalo Province. The aid was given to 315 MSMEs in Gorontalo City, 456 MSMEs in Gorontalo Regency, and 869 MSMEs in Bone Bolango Regency.

Each MSME received assistance worth Rp1 million in the form of basic goods tailored to their business needs. The symbolic handover was carried out by Governor Gusnar and Vice Governor Idah in each regency/city on Wednesday (20/8/2025).

In his remarks, Governor Gusnar emphasized that this assistance will be monitored and evaluated by officers from both the regency and provincial levels. He also urged business owners not to serve buyers who want to purchase on credit, as business growth will be regularly assessed.

Gusnar also reminded MSME players to be wise in managing their profits, even if the amounts are not large. According to him, sustainable business turnover is more important, as it could open opportunities for further assistance in the future.
He expressed appreciation to the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), village governments, sub-district heads, and regents who have conveyed the aspirations of the people regarding small business needs. This synergy, he said, is real proof of the government’s attention to MSMEs.

On the same occasion, Vice Governor Idah conveyed that this assistance serves as a stimulus to help MSMEs grow. She hoped the aid could improve family welfare, from children’s education needs to savings and healthcare.

Idah also reiterated that assistance is only given to families who do not smoke, as smoking is considered an indicator of financial capacity. She encouraged the community to live healthily and manage their finances wisely.
