GORONTALO CITY, Kominfotik – Governor Gusnar Ismail presented an explanation on the 2025 Regional Budget Adjustment at the 40th Plenary Session of the Gorontalo Provincial DPRD on Tuesday (8/19/2025). In general, Gorontalo Province’s revenue and expenditure for the 2025 fiscal year have decreased.

Gusnar explained that, as a result of the central government’s policy to streamline fund transfers to the regions, Gorontalo Province’s regional budget decreased by IDR 73.71 billion or 4.19 percent, from IDR 1.75 trillion to IDR 1.68 trillion. Transfer revenue, which was previously IDR 1.35 trillion, also decreased by IDR 82.78 billion or 6.11 percent, bringing it down to IDR 1.27 trillion.

Meanwhile, Regional Own-Source Revenue (PAD), which was previously around IDR 403 billion, increased by IDR 9 billion or 2.25 percent, reaching IDR 412 billion. Other legitimate regional income also experienced a change of around IDR 400 million.

“In the Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) on the 2025 Budget Adjustment, the Gorontalo Provincial Government continues to adhere to the principles of transparency, accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness, while prioritizing programs expected to improve the quality of public services, strengthen competitiveness, enhance social welfare, and reinforce bureaucratic reform,” said Gusnar.
