Pohuwato Regency, Kominfotik – President Prabowo Subianto launched simultaneous inauguration of village/urban Merah Putih Cooperatives and this event held virtually. There was also Vice Gov. Idah Syahidah Rusli Habibie, attended this event , on Monday (July 21, 2025). As a strategic step to strengthen the people’s economy through mutual cooperation and village self-reliance.
It is part of the national program to establish 80,000 Merah Putih Cooperatives, initiated by President Prabowo.
Various services are provided through outlets established at the cooperative, including basic food stalls, village pharmacies, village clinics, savings and loan outlets, LPG outlets, storage facilities, and even gold trading outlets.
Several strategic business partners also support the operations of the Hulawa Kopdes MP, including ID Food, Bulog, PT Kimia Farma, Pohuwato District Health Office, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT Pupuk Indonesia, and active community involvement through cooperative membership. Funding is supported by the Revolving Fund Management Institution (LPDB) and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia.
Two other cooperatives in Gorontalo Province were also inaugurated simultaneously—Kopdes MP Hutadaa in Gorontalo Regency, attended by Governor Gusnar Ismail, and Kopdes MP Gandaria, attended by Regional Secretary Sofian Ibrahim.
