399 Hajj Pilgrims Arrive Home Safely from Mecca

Governor Gusnar Ismail, handed over the official report regarding this to the City Government upon their arrival on tuesday, July 2, 2025, at the Hajj Dormitory.

Gorontalo City, Kominfotik – Governor Gusnar Ismail, welcomed the return of Hajj pilgrims from Group 28 UPG, originating from Gorontalo City, who arrived on Tuesday (July 2, 2025). Governor Gusnar, firstly expressed his great blessing to Allah SWT then in his remarks, Gusnar also hoped that all hajj pilgrims attained a pmabrur (accepted) Hajj. He encouraged them to maintain their spiritual enthusiasm. He also requested all parties to submit notes or feedback, whether regarding services in government’s responsibility—such as hotel accommodations and the Nusuk application or issues under local authority.

On this occasion, one of the pilgrims from Group 28, Abdurrahman Bahmid a former member of the parliament expressed that in general, the implementation was good, but there are still some notes. At the central level, there were issues with separate hotel accommodations, the Nusuk app, and the Tanazul system which is impact to the regions. He also highlighted two main issues within the group: a shortage of health workers and religious guides. He urged that empowering pilgrims who have backgrounds in healthcare and religious mentoring.
