Jakarta City, Kominfotik — On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, To discuss strategic programs aimed at support the agriculture and livestock sectors in Gorontalo, Governor Gusnar Ismail, did a working visit to meet Agriculture Minister, Amran Sulaiman in Jakarta. On this occasion, Governor Gusnar conveyed that the central gov’t would provide several assistance, including the development of approximately 5,000 hectares of new rice fields in the Randangan irrigation area, agricultural machinery such as combine harvesters and corn dryers, post-harvest support, and additional seed supplies for farmers.
Provincial Agriculture Office’s Head, Muljady Mario, also expressed that Minister Amran wi support and all of the requested need get a positive response due to enhancing the welfare of Gorontalo’s farmers, particularly in the corn sector, which is a national priority in agricultural development.
