Gorontalo Regency, Kominfotik – Ketupat Festival held for three days at the Golf Field in Yosonegoro village, west Limboto sub district, Gorontalo regency, brought a big profit for local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). A total of 47 MSMEs, supported by Provinci Gov’t earned profits more than IDR 100 million.
Meanwhile,Head of the Provincial Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and MSMEs office, Risjon Sunge, was being interviewed stated that the profit were gathered through vendors ranging from IDR 1.7 million at the lowest to IDR 7.5 million at the highest within three-days event. Risjon also said that if IDR 2.5 million per MSME and multiply that by 47, the total profit comes to IDR 117 million. (April 9, 2025).
He further mentioned that the provincial gov’t facilitated the MSMEs to sell within the area where events like bull races, cart horse races, and livestock contests were held. They were provided. The MSMEs consisted of 11 provincial office representatives and 36 local businesses from West Limboto and Tibawa sub district and some were selling outside the main venue and many more were not recorded.
Lastly, this event successfully ran well. Chamdi Mayang, Coordinator of the KKJI Association expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Gov’t for organizing this annual cultural and arts festival.
