Tanzania Offers Idea for Agriculture Coorperation with Gorontalo Province

Gorontalo City, Public Relation – Minister of Agriculture, livestock and Fisheries for United Republic of Tanzania, Rashid Ali Juma, met with Gorontalo Vice Gov. H. Idris Rahim at Maqna Hotel, Gorontalo City, Friday (2/11/2018)

“Our purpose tend to come to Gorontalo is due to expand coorperation, develop communication and coordination in Agriculture and Fisheries sectors, mainly in coconut-develop,” Rashid Ali Juma conveyed.

According to Rashid Ali Juma that Gorontalo has a privilege motion in Agriculture sector, this is the reason why his side consider to develop cooperation between Gorontalo Province to accelerate Agriculture development sector in Republic of Tanzania.

Provincial Agriculture Office’s Head, Muljadi Daeng Mario added that the cooperation between Gorontalo Administration and Republic of Tanzania is such an implementation and Cooperation agreement between the Minister of Agriculture Indonesia and Republic of Tanzania. Acoording to him that Gorontalo is being chosen because of Gorontalo has the same agriculture commodity and climate as Tanzania.

In the meantime, Vice Gov, Idris Rahim gave a good response to this cooperation between the Republic of Tanzania and Gorontalo Provincial Administration. “This is something that we are proud of, Idris said.”
